LINT!?!?!?!?!

As Lent season comes to a close, I decided to share my lint woes with you.  It may not be apparent in these pictures, but the locs at my nape are filled with lint.  Now that my locs are longer, I want to pin them up.  But I don't want to look like I slept on my dryer my dryer's lint tray, gee whiz!!!!

I've colored my locs black and brown sharpies in the past. But you know, I think I might dye those locks and be more proactive from now on.  Back to lint patrol.

  2. I had heard about it and now I am experiencing it myself. And mine is in the exact area on two. I tell myself that the locs at the nape of the neck will attract lint at some time, so it is understandable. I have always ensured that I tie my locs down whenever I am doing housework or lying in bed. But what can we do? Those lower locs are the ones that rest on the collars of our clothing etc. Pinups will work but at some time, I just take my hair down and leave it be. What about the color of the towel used for drying locs after washing them? I have bleached the ends of my hair so mine are no longer an issue :) Kokofemme did an insightful all be it heartbreaking vlog some months ago on her lint situation. Check it out if you can.

  3. Is there lint all the way through? Brushing them with a hard needled brush might help but dyeing sounds good if it's just the back.

Be sure to do some before a after pics when you can.

    Good luck!!!

  4. @ Naturaleza I saw Kokofemme's video. I too am tempted to take down the linty locs.

@NaturaLocs Yes, it's all the way through :-(
