Color Me Bad
Hello again,
As I mentioned before, I'm going to dye my last 2 or three rows of locs to camouflage the lint. I'm choosing a color that's closest to my own. Which formula or brand would you recommend?

Some flair, finally.
Woke up this morning and decided to play with my hair and share the results. I used a Sharpie to color the "fibers" that are embedded in a few of my locs. I also used a large flexi clip to secure this updo. This clip is beautiful and VERY STURDY. Where can you get one? www.lillarose.biz/splendidtresses If you want to get one or more for FREE, send me a message and I'll give you the details. No SPAM, I promise. And I'm not a psycho, so you don't have to worry about me stalking you or something. Have a great day! :-)

LINT!?!?!?!?!
As Lent season comes to a close, I decided to share my lint woes with you. It may not be apparent in these pictures, but the locs at my nape are filled with lint. Now that my locs are longer, I want to pin them up. But I don't want to look like I slept on my dryer my dryer's lint tray, gee whiz!!!!

1 Year Old Locs
My locs turned 1 last Wednesday! I'm enjoying their appearance and growth. Now that my locs are getting firm, I look forward to doing more styles. By the way, you REALLY need to try the flexi clips mentioned in the previous post. You will be pleased with their beauty and craftsmanship. I'm working on some style videos to share with you. Until then visit my site and treat yourself to something nice!

Soooooo Cute
Hello y'all
http://www.lillarose.biz/splendidtresses
Regarding my locs progress, let's just say I'm glad I have locs. I've washed and retwisted them once since having my son. I'm unintentionally semi free-forming them, LOL! All the more reason to wear those pretty Flexi-Clips and keep on steppin'.
You just don't know how long I've been wanting some loc jewelry! While looking around on the internet I can across these gorgeous hair clips. I want to get them all! I ordered a few of them and even became a consultant with the company. I can't wait until my order comes in. Check out my site and tell me what you think about these.

What's New?
Hello loc enthusiasts. What's new? Well I'll tell you...
MY SON!!! He arrived three weeks ago, healthy and happy. As for me, I'm recovering well and settling into to motherhood. No glamorous Beyonce-inspired public appearances for me though. I'm just glad I manage to shower daily. But I look forward to getting back to my old self soon.
It's a good thing I doubled up on loc maintenance during December and early January because I haven't done a thing to my hair since I went in labor. By the end of this week, I hope to retwist my hair BEFORE washing it? Why? If I washed it first, separating it would take forever. Instead, I will mist my hair with water mixed with a teaspoon of conditioner and retwist it. A few days later I will wash it and retwist with my usual shea butter/oil/gel mixture.
I must admit, my locs don't look too bad. They're firming up nicely and I've accepted their fuzzy appearance. With a little makeup, jewelry and a nice outfit (and I haven't worn any of these lately), my locs look rather stylish.
